Question 1

How does QuoNow work?

Accepted Answer

You describe your project once: category, budget range, timeline and a written brief. Our team reviews the request and matches it with up to 7 approved Hong Kong IT companies, who contact you directly with quotations. You compare and choose, or decline all of them.

Question 2

Is the service free for businesses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Submitting a request and receiving quotations is free, with no obligation to accept any quote. You only pay the vendor you choose, under the terms you agree with them. QuoNow does not take a commission from clients.

Question 3

How long does it take to receive quotes?

Accepted Answer

Most clients receive a first quotation within 24 to 48 hours of submitting a request. Larger or more specialised projects may take longer, as vendors need time to prepare a considered quote.

Question 4

How many quotations will I receive?

Accepted Answer

Up to 7. The exact number depends on how many approved vendors fit your category, budget range and timeline. For narrow or highly specialised briefs the number may be smaller.

Question 5

How do I compare vendors?

Accepted Answer

Each vendor is asked to quote against the same brief and to state price, delivery time, scope and maintenance terms. You also receive the vendor's company details and can ask follow-up questions directly.

Question 6

What if none of the quotes suit me?

Accepted Answer

You are under no obligation to proceed. You may refine your brief and submit again, or contact us for help clarifying requirements.

Question 7

Do I need an account to request quotes?

Accepted Answer

No. A request can be submitted without creating an account. We confirm receipt by email and vendors contact you directly.

Question 8

How do I become a vendor on QuoNow?

Accepted Answer

Apply through the vendor sign-up page with your company details, service categories and typical project size. Our team reviews every application by hand and replies within 2 to 3 business days.

Question 9

What does vetting involve?

Accepted Answer

We check that the company is registered and operating in Hong Kong with verifiable contact details, that its service descriptions are clear and truthful, and that its website, portfolio or references show relevant delivered work.

Question 10

How are leads matched to vendors?

Accepted Answer

Our team matches each business request to approved vendors by service category, budget range, typical project size and current capacity. A request goes to no more than 7 vendors.

Question 11

What does it cost to join?

Accepted Answer

Nothing during the launch phase. Approved vendors join the Founding Vendor Programme with no monthly fee, no per-lead charge, no credit card and no contract. Founding vendors will receive a lasting preferential rate when paid pricing is introduced.

Question 12

What can I see in the vendor dashboard?

Accepted Answer

Only the requests matched to your company, with the client's brief and contact details, plus your company profile. You cannot see other vendors' leads or quotations.

Question 13

How is my data protected?

Accepted Answer

QuoNow follows the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO). Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access controls. Your contact details are shared only with the vendors matched to your request.

Question 14

Who sees my project brief?

Accepted Answer

Our team, for review and matching, and the approved vendors matched to your request. Vendors cannot see requests that were not matched to them, and we do not publish or sell briefs.

Question 15

Can I have my data corrected or deleted?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Email hello@quonow.com or use the contact page. We will confirm the change and, where deletion is requested, remove your data except where we are required to keep a record by law.

Question 16

Will I receive marketing messages?

Accepted Answer

We send emails related to your request or vendor account. Any optional updates include an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Question 17

Is there a contract or minimum term?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no contract or minimum term, and you can ask us to close your vendor account at any time.

Question 18

Is there a monthly lead quota?

Accepted Answer

No. During the launch phase there is no monthly quota. You receive every request our team matches to your categories, budget range and capacity.

Question 19

Will QuoNow charge vendors in future?

Accepted Answer

Paid pricing is planned to be pay-per-lead, where you choose which matched requests to accept, rather than a monthly subscription. Prices have not been set. We will notify vendors in advance before any charge starts, and each vendor decides whether to continue.
